Confidence Monitor Rental
Confidence monitors help presenters look relaxed, confident, and fully present with the audience while still seeing every word, slide, or cue they need.
We provide professional confidence monitor rentals with pro operators, so your speakers, singers, pastors, and hosts can focus on their performance—not on remembering what comes next.
What Is a Confidence Monitor?
A confidence monitor is a screen that faces the presenter instead of the audience. It displays exactly what your talent needs to see: lyrics, bullet points, presenter notes, scripts, timers, or show cues.
You’ll hear different names for the same basic tool:
Confidence monitor
Comfort monitor
Confidence/comfort screen
Sometimes downstage or “rock ’n’ roll” monitors are placed at the front edge of the stage
In every case, the goal is the same: give your presenter a private visual guide so they can stay on track and stay connected with the audience.

Why Presenters Love Confidence Monitors
Confidence monitors are used wherever a strong, polished performance matters:
Singers and bands see lyrics and cues without turning away from the crowd.
Comedians and hosts keep their set list or segments visible while staying natural and spontaneous.
Corporate speakers can reference key points, quotes, and data without reading from paper.
Pastors and faith leaders follow scripture references and messages while staying connected with the congregation.
Instead of struggling to remember lines or constantly checking notes, presenters get a quiet safety net that lets them relax and deliver their best performance.
Confidence Monitor Sizes and Placements
We can configure confidence monitors in several ways depending on your stage, venue, and camera setup.
1. Floor‑level confidence monitors (small/medium)
Smaller screens placed near the front of the stage or just off to the side. These are ideal when you want:
Low, discreet monitors that are barely visible to the audience
Performers who roam the stage but still need to catch lyrics or bullet points at a glance
2. Off‑stage wing monitors
Medium‑sized screens are placed just off the stage, typically in the wings. These work well when:
You want monitors completely out of the audience’s line of sight
Presenters are comfortable glancing left or right occasionally
3. Rear‑of‑house comfort monitors
Larger screens positioned at the back of the room, facing the stage. These allow:
Presenters to look “out” over the audience while following the text
Clear visibility in large rooms and long stages
Rear‑of‑house monitors can be very effective, but they require careful placement so cameras, sightlines, and staging are not blocked, and they can be more complex to cable and power.
Tell us about your venue and run of show, and we’ll recommend the right size and placement so your monitors are helpful to talent and unobtrusive to the audience.

Confidence Monitor Rental FAQs
Will the audience see the monitors?
We work with you on placement so monitors are visible to your presenter, not your audience. Floor‑level and wing placements are typically very discreet; rear‑of‑house monitors are positioned to balance visibility with clean sightlines.
What can you show on a confidence monitor?
Slides, notes, scripts, lyrics, timers, cues—almost anything that can be sent as a video or teleprompter feed. We can coordinate with your show computer, switching, and teleprompter operator.
Do I need a separate operator?
For live scripts and complex cues, we strongly recommend an operator. For simple slide mirroring, your existing show computer operator may be enough; we’ll advise based on your show plan.
Which sizes do you offer?
We carry a range of monitor sizes, allowing us to scale from small stages to arenas. Once we know your venue and stage layout, we’ll suggest appropriate sizes and quantities.
Can you work with my existing AV team?
Yes. We regularly integrate with in‑house AV and outside production companies. We’ll coordinate signal flow, placement, and cueing so everything works seamlessly with the rest of your show.
